The pesticide is a must and should be environmental friendly and we found large loss of cocoa crop due to Helopeltis antonii. So we have formulated a solution which contains plant extracts which mostly repel the insects and even if it attacks the crop it kills it and friendly to birds, animals and human. Plants used are Strychnos nux-vomica,Vitex negundo, Garlic extraction, Indian Elm and Neem oil in soapnut solution. Effectively controls Helopeltis antonii. The neem oil acts as a preservative. Indian elm is used as a sticking agent. Strychnine is a poisonous alkaloid and is used to kill insects. Garlic with its Phytonocide compound helps as antifungal. The cost of producing 25 liters of pesticide is only Rs 7/- and is 44% cheaper compared to chemical one. It does not harm environment during the preparation as well as implementation. The waste products are good fertilizers to plants. Over usage of chemical pesticide causes harm to mankind but this pesticide produces more fertile soil.
